Description
The Cleveland HALO was created by Cleveland Golf to replace hard to hit long irons. This hybrid utility club is designed to produce shots five to ten yards longer than standard irons. I have owned an '07 2i 19'R Flex Graphite Halo hybrid for about 2 years now and it is a great liitle "saviour" club!
I use it pretty generally rather than just as a 'resuce' club (ie: from fairway as well as rough!) and have learned to play it more like an iron than a fairway metal, which gives best results!
I have now bought a full set of "Cleveland HiBore 'hybrid' irons" and therefore the Halo doesn't get used quite as much, but is still very helpful when I don't think my 3 or 5 Fairway will get me out of trouble!
I have looked at the new '09 Launcher hybrid & will most probably buy a similar loft one shortly, mostly because of the 'larger dimension head and weighted sole', which are things I believe the Halo is lacking!
Overall though the Halo is a great little club and will always get me out of trouble easily!
