Description
This driver features a pear-shaped 460cc titanium head and is fade-biased for more workability and control. It has a bulge-crown design that optimizes energy transfer for greater ball speeds and solid feel that better players prefer. The hosel is positioned back from the face, which along with internal weighting, reduces spin and promotes tour-preferred trajectories and control. Own this? Tell us about it.

Ping I15 Best to date |

This driver is the best Ping driver to date. I purchased the G15 when it came out to replace my Ping Rapture V2. I realized that I had made a mistake because I hit the 9 degree G15 too high and subsequently lost some distance and at 58 years old I can't afford to lose distance. I went to the PGA Superstore in Myrtle Beach and told the pro my problem. He put me on the launch monitor and we compared my G15 and the Rapture V2 and as I suspected I was launching it too high with too much back spin. He suggested that I try the I15 and it proved to be the best. Launch angle was better and spin was down considerably. I purchased the I15 and immediately took it to the course to try. Well, it isn't a magic wand, but I didn't miss a single fairway and got the distance back that I lost with the G15. I can also work the ball much better. I can't say anything bad about this driver. I have played most of the Ping drivers over the years and this is destined to be in the bag for a long time. It came with the UST Mamiya axivcore shaft and fits me just fine. I can highly recommend this driver for better players.

Distance and Accuracy |

My first round out found distances and a straight ball flight unlike anything hit in a long time. The black head is gorgeous and appears smaller to the eye. The ball fades gently on most hits and if you work to turn in over you'll create a gentle draw. The club is a low launching tool that brings ample roll out. The feel is subtle yet deep. You can tell where you hit the ball on the face and the sound on mishits is differentiated from square impacts. An excellent club!
