Allways get the loft of a new driver checked before purchasing. In feb 09 i purchased a r7 limited 9.5 driver. I found that i was continuesly hitting the ball way to high and there was probably nothing wrong with the driver. It was probably my swing? 1000s of dollars later after many lessons, nothing had changed. I then went to a professional **** in Nov 09 to get a stiffer shaft. He then showed me the reason why. The angle had been set at 13.2 degrees. This was not a second hand driver but bought brand new of the shelf. He then told that what is written on the club is not allways true and he see's this problem quite regulary. If you have a similar problem please take this into consideration.
