Description
This hybrid is designed to promote a penetrating ball flight for skilled players with higher swing speeds, and has a dual crown clubhead, lowering the center of gravity to promote more carry and distance. It has a taller face profile and larger toe area, lending an appearance at address specifically preferred by tour pros. Its ยป Fast-looking triangular head shape permits an ultra-deep CG location and is more forgiving and easier to launch. Own this? Tell us about it.

Finally, a fade-biased hybrid |

I guess I'm a rare breed- a mid-high handicapper who hooks the ball isntead of slicing it. That makes finding clubs suited to my game to be very difficult, as the vast majority of game improvement clubs are draw-biased, some extremely so.
I've spent the past several years forking over extra money for "tour" or "TP" products that were, at least, square faced rather than closed. I was thrilled when I saw the Taylormade Tour Launch Hybrids that are actually fade-biased, even if it's only sligthly weigthed thusly rather than an open face angle.
This club sports a low, boring trajectory, and true to its claim, is fade-biased, making it a little easier for those of us who suffer from the "lefts" to keep it in play. There is a loud but satisfying "crack" at impact with good feedback on mishits. It's a fairly large-headed hybrid as well, which helps confidence on tee shots. It doesn't spin quite as much as other hybrids, probably owing to the hotter trajectory, but the 2 & 3 hybrids I've been swinging hold greens well enough for clubs that replace a 2 and 3 irons.
I hope more manufacturers take note and offer game improvement types of clubs that are NOT geared strictly to slciers, because Taylormade has a hit with this one.
