Just last year I was thinking about piecing a set of irons together. I was going to get the R7 TP 9&pw. Then the R7 6,7&8 irons and the R7 CGB Max 3,4&5.
Well, I didnt get around to doing it myself but then TaylorMade did it for me this year with the new "09 Burner irons.
Its everything a mid-low handicapper could ask for and more. Now I have more forgiveness where its needed most, in the long and mid irons, and more control with the scoring clubs.
I'd like to think it was my idea, but would rather just thank TM for making it.
If you havent played this set, you absolutely must try them. Ive played them for several months now and if I needed to, I wouldnt hesitate to buy them again.
